Penarth Health Centre Is Moving!
 After
4 years of negotiations, the Stanwell Surgery is almost ready to move
out of the Health Centre while it is being demolished to make way for a
purpose built surgery. The surgery will be moving into temporary
accommodation for approximately one year. The temporary surgery will be
located in the car park of the Masonic Hall further along Stanwell Road
and can be accessed from the lane to the side of the Masonic Hall.
Expected Move Date: Friday 8th March 2002
For health and safety reasons there will be no surgeries on that day,
nor on the following Saturday Morning (9th March). Normal surgeries will
resume on Monday 11th March.
If you need to see a doctor URGENTLY on the 8th,
9th or 10th please telephone the usual number (029 2070 3039) and your
call will be diverted to someone who can help. Please note that this is
for urgent cases only.

In order to help with requests of repeat prescriptions which are due
the week commencing Monday 4th March, the surgery has requested that
patients bring in or post them a week early as that week they will have
to deal with double the normal requests.
It is expected that the surgery will remain in the temporary accommodation
for approximately 9 - 12 months. For further updates watch this space!
