The Victorian seaside town of Penarth is situated along the South Wales
Coast on the Bristol Channel. It is the second largest town within the
Vale of Glamorgan after Barry which lies approximately six miles along
the coast, closer still is Cardiff - the capital city of Wales. Being so
close to the capital, Penarth is ideally situated for holiday makers and
business people.
The town itself has a population in excess of 20,000 inhabitants. Its
coastal position provides some fine views over the Bristol Channel,
including the islands of Flat Holm and Steep Holm and the English Coast opposite.
